It's a Winner!

Don't miss this great book. The American Library Association recently announced the 2011 Caldecott book award winner. Honoring a book's illustrations, the Caldecott is a prestigious award coveted by children's book authors and illustrators. And this year the winner is . . . A Sick Day for Amos McGee, illustrated by Erin E. Stead and written by Phillip C. Stead. Ms. Stead uses woodblock prints and fine pencil to bring this sweet, simple story to life for readers.
