On Saturday, February 5, the literary world lost a wonderful author, who has entranced millions of children, when Brian Jacques (pronounced JAKEs) passed away at his home in England. His popular Redwall series about a courageous mouse contains 21 titles with one last one coming out this year (The Rogue Crew). Jacques wrote many other books including the Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series. You can find many of his books in our library as well as other libraries in the OCPL system.
